Kennametal Names Amanda Cole as New HR Chief
After two decades of service, Kennametal human resources leader Judith Bacchus will retire this October, prompting the industrial technology firm to appoint Amanda Cole as her successor. Cole, arriving from Wesco International, takes the helm on July 21 to guide the company's global talent and corporate culture strategy.
CEO Sanjay Chowbey described the new hire as an accomplished leader whose technical perspective will prove vital to the company’s executive team. Beyond traditional human resources oversight, Cole will manage corporate communications and environmental, health, safety, and quality initiatives. The transition period between Cole and Bacchus is already underway to ensure continuity across the firm's global operations, which currently employ 8,100 people.
