CEO Patrick Gilligan stated that the new directors bring a deep understanding of the evolving landscape, which will prove essential as the organization works to increase value for its 2 million members. O'Grady joins the board following his tenure as president and CEO of Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, a role he held from 2024 until his retirement late last year. His career includes leadership positions at HealthNow New York and Anthem BlueCross and BlueShield of New Hampshire.

Angela Meoli contributes her expertise as the current president of A3M Consulting, where she advises firms through large-scale healthcare transformations. Her background includes a significant stint at CVS Health, where she served as senior vice president of the strategic enterprise office, focusing on primary care acquisitions and payor-agnostic service models. She also held leadership roles at Aetna and Coventry Health Care before founding her consultancy. Point32Health, the parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, expects these additions to bolster its governance as it continues to manage its not-for-profit health services.
