Young Guru Launches Full-Tuition Scholarship for Roc Nation School
Grammy-winning audio engineer Gimel "Young Guru" Keaton is opening a direct path for the next generation of creators by funding a full-tuition scholarship at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment. The initiative offers one student four years of coverage and rare access to professional mentorship.
The selected recipient gains more than financial relief. The program includes an exclusive opportunity to shadow Young Guru throughout the academic year and collaborate one-on-one within the school’s Dolby Atmos-enabled professional studio. Beyond technical training, the student will join the Dean's Scholars Program, gaining access to high-level networking and career development resources. This marks the second time the producer has funded such a scholarship, following a similar award granted in 2022. He joins a list of prominent figures, including DJ Khaled, Megan Thee Stallion, and LaMelo Ball, who have established scholarship funds at the Brooklyn-based institution.
