The appointments, effective immediately, distribute new leadership across key financial hubs. In the United States, the firm bolstered its California presence with Marsha Levinson in San Francisco and Sara Pike in San Diego, both focused on estate and tax planning. Los Angeles added commercial litigator Vahe Mesropyan, while New Haven-based Di Fu and Andrea Zakko continue the firm’s emphasis on international tax strategies for private family offices.
Withers Expands Partnership Ranks Across Three Continents
International law firm Withers has promoted 12 lawyers to partner, strengthening its global footprint in the US, UK, and Singapore. The new cohort brings expertise spanning complex tax planning, high-stakes commercial litigation, and sensitive family law matters, reflecting the firm's focus on private wealth and regulatory defense.

Singapore’s office sees the promotion of three partners: Shaun Ho, specializing in cross-border family law and surrogacy; Tom McElligott, who manages international private wealth; and commercial litigator Jonathan Tan. Meanwhile, the London team expands with family law specialist Sarfraz Ali, civil fraud expert Daniel Gore, white-collar crime investigator Perveen Hill, and media law practitioner Caroline Thompson. These elevations signal a strategic move to address rising demand in cross-border asset recovery and high-conflict dispute resolution.
