SIG SAUER Highlights Domestic Production in New Documentary Film

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, firearms manufacturer SIG SAUER has released a short film spotlighting its domestic supply chain and workforce. The project, produced by the company’s internal media arm, emphasizes the role of American manufacturing in supporting military and law enforcement operations nationwide.

The film underscores a three-decade shift toward localized production, showcasing facilities that span from New Hampshire to Arkansas. According to CEO Ron Cohen, the company’s objective remains the integration of advanced machining and workforce training to supply the U.S. military and civilian markets with domestically produced equipment. The production effort was managed by SIG Studios in collaboration with Ironclad, marking a continued push into branded documentary storytelling.

SIG SAUER currently operates approximately 1.5 million square feet of facility space across the country. This footprint includes the company’s global headquarters in Newington, New Hampshire, along with specialized sites such as an electro-optics hub in Oregon, an ammunition campus in Arkansas, and an advanced technology center in Sanford, North Carolina, focused on drone integration. The full documentary is scheduled for release on July 3 across the company's social media platforms.
