The new storefront at 420 West 500 South joins the company’s existing location in Murray. Beyond retail sales, the company is positioning itself as a primary resource for local leagues and schools through its Team Sales program, which provides customized apparel and specialized gear procurement. CEO David Nectow noted that the expansion aims to capitalize on the state’s current momentum, catering to everyone from first-time skaters to veteran athletes.
Pure Hockey Opens Second Utah Location in Bountiful
Utah’s surging interest in ice sports has prompted Pure Hockey to plant its second flag in the state. The national retailer, which operates over 110 stores across the country, officially opened its doors in Bountiful this week, signaling a strategic expansion into the growing local hockey market.
As the official retail partner of the NHL’s Learn to Play program, the brand is also focusing on grassroots development. By supplying introductory equipment packages and technical resources, the retailer intends to lower the barrier to entry for new players in the region. A formal grand opening event for the Bountiful facility is scheduled to take place later this year.
