Luc Bernard Returns to Lead Natixis Tech Hub in Bangalore

Luc Bernard has been appointed chief executive officer of Natixis Services in India, taking charge of the Paris-headquartered firm’s technology and innovation hub in Bangalore. The move marks a return for Bernard, who previously served on the center’s board of directors from 2021 until his recent tenure in Paris.

Reporting to Cécile de Sousa, chief operating officer for Asia Pacific and Middle East, and Etienne Huret, head of the Portugal and India hubs, Bernard will focus on scaling the Bangalore center as it marks its five-year anniversary. His mandate includes deepening the integration of the Indian operations into the bank's broader global processes.

Bernard brings nearly twenty years of experience in software engineering, financial markets, and digital transformation to the role. Before this appointment, he served as head of IT production at Natixis Investment Managers in Paris. His history with the firm dates back to 2014, when he joined the IT team at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. Prior to that, he held positions at Société Générale and Partners Advisers SA. He holds an executive MBA from HEC Paris and a master's degree in electronic engineering from the Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Brest.
