The festival begins July 20 with a speakeasy-themed gala at The Palomino, featuring the San Lyon ensemble and a 1930s jazz club atmosphere. The programming continues July 23 at the Ventura College Performing Arts Center with "Beethoven’s Choice," an educational performance led by violinist Nuvi Mehta and pianist Greg Anderson. On July 24, Grammy-winning soprano Angel Blue performs at the Rancho Campana Performing Arts Center alongside pianist Bryan Wagorn.
Mid-week energy shifts to the Majestic Ventura Theater on July 25 for a double-headline Latin jazz show. Colombian saxophone legend Justo Almario will perform alongside Puerto Rican rising star Jeremy Bosch, with each artist bringing their respective orchestras to the stage. The series concludes July 26 at the Ventura College Performing Arts Center with a performance by the Akropolis Reed Quintet, an ensemble known for their extensive catalog of contemporary commissions.
