The campaign begins November 7, 2026, with the company’s signature Day of Service, when participating offices nationwide will open their doors specifically for veterans. This event serves as the cornerstone of an expanded 'Healthy Mouth Movement,' a long-term strategy designed to dismantle barriers to care related to income or geography. Since the program’s inception in 2014, the network has already provided over $28 million in donated dentistry to more than 30,000 veterans.
Aspen Dental Pledges $100 Million in Free Care for Veterans
Only one in four U.S. veterans qualifies for dental benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs, leaving a significant gap in essential healthcare. To address this, Aspen Dental is launching a five-year, $100 million initiative aimed at providing free oral health services to underserved populations across the country.
Bob Fontana, founder of Aspen Dental and CEO of The Aspen Group, noted that the commitment coincides with America’s 250th anniversary, aiming to build a legacy of service for those who served the country. The initiative will leverage the TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence and various community partnerships to deliver comprehensive treatment. Dr. Arwinder Judge, chief clinical officer, described the effort as a means of restoring dignity to veterans through professional care. Veterans can register for notifications regarding appointment availability starting in late September at the company's website.
