Rocketlane’s latest funding round underscores a broader industry pivot, as professional services teams move from manual project tracking toward AI-driven execution. The company recently secured $60 million in Series C funding led by Insight Partners, bringing its total capital raised to $105 million. With over 750 global customers, the startup is leveraging its platform, Nitro, to automate high-effort tasks such as environment setup, migrations, and documentation.
Atlassian Ventures Backs Rocketlane to Automate Professional Services
Atlassian Ventures has made a strategic investment in Rocketlane, signaling a shift toward agentic AI in enterprise implementation and consulting. The move follows Atlassian’s internal adoption of the platform, which serves as a testing ground for automating complex service delivery tasks and redefining how professional teams operate in the AI era.

According to Georgia Zhang, Head of Atlassian Ventures, the investment was driven by the platform's demonstrated ability to handle Atlassian’s internal service workflows. Rocketlane CEO Srikrishnan Ganesan argues that the industry's future lies in rebuilding delivery models from scratch rather than simply layering AI over existing processes. By automating timesheet governance, compliance, and real-time risk monitoring, Nitro aims to reduce delivery effort by up to 50 percent, allowing consultants to shift their focus from administrative overhead to high-value billable work.
