Taylor Devices Makes Aerospace Debut at Farnborough

For the first time in its 70-year history, North Tonawanda-based Taylor Devices will join the Farnborough International Airshow. The manufacturer plans to use the July 20–24 event in England to showcase its specialized landing gear technology to an expected crowd of 100,000 global aviation and defense professionals.

The company, which trades under the ticker TAYD, intends to anchor its presence in Hall 4, Booth #41512. The centerpiece of their display is a full-scale nose landing gear assembly. This hardware serves as a practical demonstration of the firm’s recent internal expansion, having been designed, manufactured, and tested in under four months at their newly commissioned Development Lab. By highlighting this rapid turnaround, the company aims to signal its capacity to handle compressed development cycles for aerospace partners.

CEO Tim Sopko described the move as one of the most ambitious exhibition projects in the company's seven-decade tenure. Beyond the physical hardware, the firm is promoting its proprietary zero-maintenance shock absorber technology to industry stakeholders. With over 1,400 exhibitors converging on the site, the event serves as a critical testing ground for Taylor Devices to integrate its landing gear subsystems into the broader international aerospace market.
