Medline Secures Prime Vendor Contract with Allina Health
Allina Health has signed a prime vendor agreement with Medline to overhaul its medical-surgical supply chain across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The partnership grants the healthcare network, which manages 12 hospital campuses and 90 clinics, direct access to Medline’s full product portfolio and distribution infrastructure.
Joshua Grulke, system director of Allina Health Supply Chain Operations, stated that the partnership is designed to protect the quality of patient care by providing staff with more reliable tools. Tom Reynolds, executive vice president of acute care at Medline, noted that the agreement expands on a pre-existing relationship between the two organizations, shifting focus toward system-wide efficiency and continuity of care.
