Greenberg Traurig Launches Integrated Tax Practice in Milan
Greenberg Traurig is expanding its Milan footprint by launching a fully integrated tax platform, anchored by the arrival of Luca Marraffa and a team of seasoned specialists from Di Tanno Associati and Chiomenti. The move signals a push to align the Italian office with the firm's broader cross-border service model.

Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum noted that the expansion is part of a strategy to capture growing opportunities in the Italian market. The Milan office, formed through the combination of Greenberg Traurig and Santa Maria Studio Legale Associato, has seen a recent series of hires across banking, finance, and labor law. By embedding tax expertise directly into its corporate and M&A offerings, the firm aims to provide clients with a unified service chain from initial structuring to potential litigation.
