Gresgying Rebrands as Lumosenergy to Scale European EV Charging
Under the banner "Power in a New Light" at Munich’s The Westin Grand, Chinese charging giant Gresgying officially transitioned to Lumosenergy. The launch event during Power2Drive Europe 2026 signaled a strategic pivot toward aggressive international expansion, backed by a billion-dollar valuation and a new, massive manufacturing footprint.

Lumosenergy’s European roadmap focuses on local integration, supported by a 70-person international team and a dedicated office in Düsseldorf. The company’s product lineup now includes CE-certified hardware and high-capacity distributed charging systems up to 1.44MW. By formalizing a strategic partnership with Phoenix Contact E-Mobility, Lumosenergy aims to solidify its presence in the European ecosystem through localized technical support and regional supply chain reliability. Future development will prioritize autonomous mobile charging and robotic arms, maintaining a philosophy centered on regulatory compliance and rapid innovation.
