The investigation centers on the potential failure of leadership to disclose critical information during the relevant class period. This scrutiny stems from an November 2024 report by Edgewater Research, which claimed that Nvidia engineers lost confidence in Monolithic’s technology. According to the report, the chipmaker moved to eliminate Monolithic’s allocation for next-generation Blackwell chips, shifting toward competitors to serve as primary suppliers.
Kahn Swick & Foti Launches Probe into Monolithic Power Systems
The law firm Kahn Swick & Foti has initiated an investigation into Monolithic Power Systems, examining whether the company's officers and directors breached their fiduciary duties. This inquiry follows a 2024 report alleging that Nvidia, the firm's largest customer, slashed orders due to performance failures in Monolithic’s hardware.

Monolithic Power Systems is already facing an ongoing securities class action lawsuit related to these same allegations of non-disclosure. Kahn Swick & Foti, led by former Louisiana Attorney General Charles C. Foti, Jr., is now seeking to determine if internal corporate governance failed shareholders. The firm has invited long-term investors to provide information or discuss their legal standing as the investigation into possible malfeasance continues.
