The Wrangler Laredo builds upon the existing Willys foundation, prioritizing off-road capability by including the Xtreme 35 Package as standard equipment. This configuration features a one-inch suspension lift and 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires mounted on bronze beadlock-capable wheels. Jeep brand CEO Bob Broderdorf stated the company sought to balance the vehicle's historical legacy with modern craftsmanship, noting that the design team aimed to maintain the spirit of the original CJ-era trim while integrating contemporary interior materials.
Jeep Revives Laredo Nameplate for 2027 Wrangler Series
Drawing inspiration from the American Southwest and its own 1980s heritage, Jeep has unveiled the 2027 Wrangler Laredo. As the ninth entry in the brand's Twelve 4 Twelve series, the model transitions from an Easter Jeep Safari concept to a production vehicle, blending classic western aesthetics with the rugged Xtreme 35 hardware.

Inside, the cabin features Bison Brown Nappa leather seating accented by Mayan Gold stitching and a distinctive cowboy hat motif on the HVAC controls. To reinforce its namesake roots, the vehicle includes a custom badge on the center console and a rear swing-gate plaque displaying the geographic coordinates of Laredo, Texas. The exterior aesthetic is defined by a Gobi-colored grille, bronze tow hooks, and the return of a tan soft-top. Interested buyers can place orders starting later this month, with the Laredo package priced at a $1,995 premium over the MSRP of a standard Wrangler Willys equipped with the Xtreme 35 package.
