A 190% surge in monthly organic sessions and a 413% jump in AI-driven referral traffic have earned London-based agency SUSO Digital a Bronze accolade at The Drum Awards for Marketing EMEA 2026. The agency’s winning campaign transformed a struggling fitness coaching brand into a high-converting search leader.

The campaign, titled Engineering Search Visibility in a Human-Led Health Brand, addressed a critical performance plateau. When the project launched in April 2025, the client’s site languished at an average search ranking of 18, generating a mere 1,609 organic sessions per month. To reverse this, SUSO abandoned traditional blog-heavy content strategies in favor of structural search engineering and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).

By implementing entity-based schema, pruning over 300 low-value pages, and redesigning the site architecture to map directly to user intent, the agency stabilized the brand’s digital presence. Crucially, the team optimized content for extractability by AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini—a strategic bet that paid off with a 413% increase in AI-referred traffic by February 2026. These technical refinements, paired with UX improvements identified via Hotjar, helped lift monthly coaching enquiries from roughly 15 to over 100.
