The convention, supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and AsiaWorld-Expo, transformed the city into a center for global philanthropy. Beyond the high-level policy discussions and leadership seminars, attendees fanned out across the region to conduct health outreach, elderly care visits, and foot-care awareness programs. These efforts underscored the organization’s commitment to localized service, even when operating at a massive international scale.
Dr. Tam Wing-kun, Honorary Chairman of the convention, noted that the event provided a critical window for international delegates to observe the city's stability and prosperity firsthand. The gathering also served as a cultural bridge, highlighted by a gala where 2,000 members participated in traditional Chinese attire. Central to the event’s mission was the Tai Chi demonstration, which engaged 4,000 members to promote the UN Sustainable Development Goal 10.2, focused on social and economic inclusion.
