Lemonade Launches Renters Insurance in Maine
Starting at $5 per month, New York-based insurer Lemonade is extending its digital-first coverage to Maine residents. The expansion aims to replace traditional, complex underwriting with an app-based model that promises instant claim processing and pricing significantly below the national average for renters.

Maine residents can further reduce costs through policy bundling, annual billing, or the installation of qualifying home safety devices. The company claims its premiums typically sit 30% lower than the national average. This launch continues a broader growth strategy for the certified B-Corp, which already operates across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.
