The newly formed Regenerative Science Advisory Board brings together a national collective of physicians and skin health experts to bridge the gap between breakthrough laboratory research and everyday patient care. According to Glen Curran, senior vice president at Allergan Aesthetics, the board aims to refine clinical practices and inform future developments in skin longevity through direct collaboration with the clinicians who apply these products daily.
Complementing this expertise, the company has significantly enlarged its research facility in Irvine, Calif. The updated lab now features advanced imaging technologies and machine learning capabilities to identify new biological targets and accelerate ingredient discovery. By housing formulation scientists and biological researchers under one roof, the facility intends to streamline the development of next-generation regenerative products.
