University of Western Australia Taps SRM Technologies for India Expansion
The University of Western Australia has selected SRM Technologies to architect the digital infrastructure for its new international branch campuses in Mumbai and Chennai. This strategic partnership aims to deploy a comprehensive, end-to-end technology ecosystem in time for the 2026-27 academic year, supporting the institution’s move into the Indian market.

David Das, Chief Operating Officer for UWA India, noted that the university required a partner with specific expertise in both higher education workflows and scalable digital deployment. Beyond the initial setup, SRM Technologies will provide ongoing application management and infrastructure support. For SRM, the deal reinforces its growing footprint in the international higher education sector, building on its existing work with the Victorian Government’s School Software Panel in Australia. Manivannan S, CEO of SRM Technologies, identified the firm’s focus on supporting the global shift toward hybrid learning and international branch campuses as central to its current growth strategy.
