The final disbursement saw seven organizations receive $10,011 each. Beneficiaries include the Education Over Debt Foundation, Help, Incorporated's Square One Family Justice Center, Mooresville Area Christian Mission, A Storehouse for Jesus, Winston-Salem Rescue Mission, Winston-Salem Street School, and the Women's Resource Center of Greensboro. These funds represent the final ledger entries for a foundation established in 2020.
Funding for this exit strategy was bolstered by the final Flying Colors Charity 5K and Fun Run, which brought in $54,754, bolstered by a $27,377 match from Truliant. Jean Golden-Rumer, president of the PACU Foundation, described the conclusion as a bittersweet chapter, noting that the collective efforts of members and employees met the group's initial goal of fostering community-driven change.
