Jennifer Tay, a veteran wealth management executive formerly with Citigroup, has been appointed as vice chair for Southeast Asia at Deutsche Bank. Her role, which takes effect on August 3, focuses on deepening relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients and bolstering the lender's regional strategic growth initiatives.

Reporting directly to Johanes Oeni, the head of Southeast Asia, Tay arrives with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Her previous tenure at Citigroup included serving as market executive and investment counselling head for markets spanning Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. During that time, she managed platinum-tier portfolios across Singapore and Indonesia.

At Deutsche Bank, Tay will integrate into the existing leadership team to drive the expansion of "One Bank Solutions." The bank’s internal memo highlights her broad expertise in managed investments and portfolio counseling, noting her professional history includes leading teams across Hong Kong, London, and the Middle East. Tay holds a bachelor of business administration from the National University of Singapore.
