According to General Manager Chris Magill, the move provides a clearer connection to the parent company’s international resources while preserving the community relationships developed over the past decade.

The Shreveport dealership formerly known as Rountree Ford Lincoln has officially transitioned to the Group 1 brand, marking a shift in the Houston-based retailer's strategy to standardize its national network. Despite the name change on the signage, the location at 8770 Business Park Drive maintains its existing staff and local operations.
Group 1 Automotive, which manages a portfolio of 251 dealerships across the U.S. and the U.K., intends for this consistency to simplify the customer experience across its footprint. The Shreveport location continues to serve the Ark-La-Tex region, including Bossier City, with its full suite of sales, maintenance, and collision services. Ownership and management remain unchanged, ensuring that current service agreements and long-standing client commitments remain intact under the new banner.
