The transaction marks a continued consolidation of interest by NNS, the investment vehicle founded by Nassef Sawiris. Following this acquisition, NNS and Sawiris collectively control 117,677,749 shares, representing a 55.68 percent stake in OCI. This latest move aligns with the firm's ongoing voluntary public offer for all issued and outstanding ordinary shares of the company.
NNS Increases Stake in OCI Global Following Share Purchase
NNS Holding has acquired an additional 109,295 shares of OCI Global, further tightening its control over the company. The purchase, executed on July 20, 2026, at an average price of 4.0778 euros per share, brings the investment firm's total holding to approximately 55.49 percent of the outstanding share capital.

While NNS maintains its position as OCI's largest shareholder, the firm signaled that it may continue to engage in market purchases of OCI securities outside the formal offer framework where legally permissible. Any future acquisitions will be disclosed in accordance with Dutch market regulations. The company noted that these activities remain distinct from the formal offer process, which is subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets.
