Sheba Medical Center is funding and managing the trial, allowing the San Antonio-based company to gather independent clinical data with minimal investment. This development provides a secondary pathway for the drug, which is currently undergoing FDA Animal Rule testing as a countermeasure for Acute Radiation Syndrome. If successful, the trial could validate Entolimod as a standard supportive-care agent, opening a new commercial trajectory for the firm’s lead therapeutic.
