Staff participated through direct donations and fundraising efforts throughout June, bolstering the agency's ability to distribute supplies to those at the highest risk of heat-related health issues.
Achieve triples water donations for Arizona heat relief
Employees at digital finance firm Achieve delivered 2,795 cases of water to the Tempe Community Action Agency this month, a massive surge in support for residents struggling through the Arizona summer. This contribution more than triples the 866 cases collected during the company’s 2025 campaign for vulnerable populations.
Heather Marcom, Achieve’s senior vice president of human resources, credited the company’s internal culture for the spike in donations. TCAA CEO Philip Scharf noted that such corporate partnerships are essential for maintaining life-saving services during the most extreme months of the year. With a large workforce based in the region, Achieve continues to prioritize local community aid as part of its ongoing social commitment.
