The joint initiative, supported by Zurich Versicherung, embeds Nauto’s AI-powered safety platform into AFC’s PRIME ecosystem. The technology monitors real-time driving conditions and driver behavior—identifying risks such as fatigue, tailgating, and distracted driving—to provide in-the-moment coaching. This approach is currently being deployed within the 130-vehicle fleet of nobleglass, marking the first large-scale rollout of the integrated system.
Nauto and AFC bring predictive AI to German commercial fleets
German fleet operators are pivoting from reactive damage reporting to proactive collision prevention through a new partnership between Auto Fleet Control and AI specialist Nauto. By integrating predictive dashcam technology into existing risk management workflows, the collaboration aims to slash accident rates by up to 30 percent across the country.

Beyond safety, the partnership targets the financial inefficiencies of traditional fleet management. AFC claims its digital tools can reduce damage assessment timelines from one week to ten minutes, with high-accuracy repair cost estimations. By utilizing actual fleet behavior data, operators can transition to individualized insurance premiums and leverage self-retention models for low-severity incidents. This shift allows companies to bypass insurance taxes and administrative overhead, potentially cutting associated costs by half while maintaining full oversight of claims.
