Under the new Memorandum of Understanding, Temu joins APDC as an institutional member, gaining a seat among the network of experts and stakeholders shaping Portugal’s digital transformation. The collaboration focuses on practical engagement, with APDC facilitating industry discussions on e-commerce trends and regulatory shifts, while Temu provides onboarding resources and marketplace expertise to local companies.

Sandra Fazenda Almeida, Executive Director of APDC, emphasized that the partnership aims to foster a more collaborative digital environment. For its part, Temu plans to leverage this network to better understand local business priorities as it continues to scale operations in the region. This move follows a series of local initiatives, including a 2025 logistics agreement with CTT Correios de Portugal and a recent recognition as a 2026 Recommended Brand by Portal da Queixa. The company currently operates in over 90 markets, with this latest cooperation marking a strategic effort to align its European expansion with established local industry standards.
