The donation consists of thousands of nutritious pantry staples from Natural Grocers, including nuts, seeds, and trail mixes, alongside more than 20,000 cans of vitamin-infused beverages from the Colorado-based startup Pop Your Vitamins. This initiative builds on a two-decade partnership between the retailer and the food bank, which has previously facilitated over $1.3 million in total contributions to support regional hunger-relief efforts.
Natural Grocers Marks 71st Anniversary With $71,000 Donation
To mark its 71st anniversary, Lakewood-based retailer Natural Grocers has partnered with the functional soda brand Pop Your Vitamins to donate $71,000 worth of products to the Food Bank of the Rockies. The contribution aims to address rising food insecurity across Colorado and Wyoming as the grocery chain prepares for its upcoming milestone celebration.

Food Bank of the Rockies, which recently expanded its operations with a new 270,000-square-foot distribution center in Aurora, reports that current demand for assistance remains at a decade-high. The products will be distributed to individuals and families across 55 counties in Colorado and Wyoming. Following this donation, Natural Grocers will host its anniversary events from August 13–15, 2026, featuring store-wide sales and a sweepstakes offering over 4,200 prizes, including a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
