PlayVS Brings Esports Arena to 2026 National Jamboree
Thousands of Scouts gathering at the Summit Bechtel Reserve this July will find a new destination between outdoor adventures: a high-tech gaming hub. PlayVS is launching a dedicated arena at the 2026 National Jamboree, blending structured esports tournaments with digital citizenship lessons for youth attendees.

Andrew Barnett, Partnership Lead at PlayVS, stated that the initiative aims to align digital engagement with the traditional Scouting pillars of leadership and fellowship. By providing a managed environment for competition, the platform seeks to demonstrate how organized gaming can foster teamwork and confidence in young participants. This partnership marks an expansion for PlayVS, which already coordinates scholastic gaming across North America for K-12 and collegiate levels.
