Spanning 1,300 hectares in Adana, the project centers on a US$1.8 billion polypropylene production facility and a liquid bulk terminal. These core assets are complemented by container and dry bulk terminals, railway connections, and shared industrial infrastructure. Erman Ilıcak, President Emeritus of Rönesans Holding, described the cluster as a foundational piece of industrial architecture intended to serve the region for the next half-century.
To attract global capital, the developers partnered with Singapore-based Surbana Jurong Group, utilizing industrial models inspired by Jurong Island and Rotterdam. This collaboration aims to position the site as a premier destination for high-tech manufacturing, including biofuels and composite materials. Currently, the site employs 4,000 workers, with that figure projected to climb to 4,500 by year-end.
