The fiscal 2026 results provide the most concrete evidence to date of the company’s structural pivot. By securing its first two contracted, recurring LensAI agreements, MindWalk has moved beyond the fee-for-service model that has long characterized its operations. This shift is supported by an expansion in gross margins to nearly 59%, reflecting a business increasingly driven by software rather than labor-intensive discovery projects.
MindWalk Holdings Turns Toward Recurring Revenue in Pivot to AI Biotech
MindWalk Holdings Corp. reported a 46% jump in annual revenue to C$15.6 million, marking a transition from one-off project work to a recurring software model. The company narrowed its net loss by more than half, signaling that its shift toward enterprise-level AI platform contracts is beginning to materialize in its financials.

Management, led by CEO Dr. Jennifer Bath, emphasized that the company’s value lies in its biological context layer, ReefIQ, rather than individual AI models. The financial improvements were bolstered by a significant reduction in operating expenses—falling 44% to C$24.1 million—largely due to the non-recurrence of prior-year impairment charges. While the company maintains a cash position of C$11.5 million, its ability to sustain this momentum will depend on converting these initial enterprise agreements into a repeatable, long-term revenue stream. The market is now watching whether the commercial launch of ReefIQ and the company's inclusion in the Russell 3000E index will provide the necessary scale to stabilize its path toward profitability.
