Federal agencies tasked with balancing tight budgets and complex workforce requirements now have a new tool for digital oversight. Workday Government announced that its Adaptive Planning platform has achieved FedRAMP Moderate authorization, clearing the software to handle sensitive, unclassified government data within a unified financial and HR environment.
Beyond basic budgeting, the system incorporates FIPS 140-3 compliant security and audit trails to assist with compliance requirements. Ben Pierce, general manager of Workday Adaptive Planning, noted that the platform aims to reduce the administrative friction typically associated with federal planning cycles. The service is slated to become available to Workday Government customers in early 2027, functioning as a component of the broader Workday Government Cloud ecosystem.
