The program functions as a bridge between the vineyard and the retail shelf. By immersing at least 12 new professionals in Italy’s diverse production regions, Ethica aims to move beyond traditional sales tactics, focusing instead on the authentic storytelling that defines premium labels. Since its launch, the initiative has trained over 200 industry members, providing them with firsthand exposure to the producers and traditions that shape each bottle.
Ethica Wines Doubles Down on Human Expertise with $2 Million Investment
Rather than relying solely on automated commercial tools, Miami-based importer Ethica Wines is betting $2 million on its workforce. The company is expanding its "World Wine Pro" initiative through 2027, sending sales and marketing professionals directly to Italian vineyards to cultivate the deep product knowledge necessary to navigate shifting consumer trends.
CEO Francesco Ganz maintains that while data tools improve operational capacity, they remain secondary to the human element. This strategy arrives as the company, which manages a portfolio of 60 wineries across four global hubs, seeks to cement its status as a top commercial partner in North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Recently named one of the fastest-growing companies of 2026, Ethica is leveraging this educational expansion to ensure its trade network remains equipped for a market that increasingly demands narrative-driven expertise rather than simple inventory distribution.
