Boyd Gaming Reports Flat Revenues and Lower Net Income for Q2 2026

Boyd Gaming Corporation recorded $1.03 billion in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, matching its performance from the same period last year. Despite stable top-line results, the operator saw net income decline to $131.2 million, down from $151.5 million in the second quarter of 2025.

CEO Keith Smith attributed the results to the firm's diversified model, noting strong contributions from its Midwest and South operations alongside its growing online segment. The company maintained property operating margins of 40%, a benchmark it has held for several years, supported by consistent play from both core and retail customers.

However, local Las Vegas operations faced headwinds during the quarter. Results were hampered by ongoing construction at the Suncoast and persistent weakness in destination business, particularly at the Orleans. While the Midwest and South segments achieved growth, the broader financial picture was impacted by increased depreciation and project development costs. To support shareholder value, the company returned over $170 million through dividends and share repurchases, with $551 million remaining in its current buyback authorization as of June 30.
