Dolphin Company Rebuts Leadership Claims by Former CEO
Former CEO Eduardo de Martín Albor Villanueva has no legal authority over The Dolphin Company, according to the firm’s court-appointed leadership. The company stated that recent press releases claiming a change in management are false, unauthorized, and in direct violation of ongoing bankruptcy orders in the United States and Mexico.
Legal trouble continues to mount for the former executive. Mr. Albor currently faces pending criminal proceedings in Mexico, and a Mexico City civil court order from April 4, 2025, explicitly prohibits him from acting as or claiming to be a company representative. Officials emphasized that the firm is not undergoing a Mexican insolvency process, rendering the former management's assertions factually baseless. The current leadership team remains focused on the Chapter 11 restructuring process, animal welfare, and employee support while reserving all rights to pursue legal action against those circulating misleading information.
