London-based Fasanara Capital has tapped former Man Group strategist James Hylands to spearhead its new AI Lab, while wealth manager TEAM has appointed industry veteran John Cusins to its board of directors, signaling a push for both technological integration and expanded corporate growth across the financial sector.
Simultaneously, TEAM has bolstered its governance with the appointment of John Cusins as an independent non-executive director. Cusins brings a track record of scaling assets, most notably his role as a co-founder of Lumin Wealth Management, which he grew from £12 million to £1.4 billion in assets before its sale to VZ Group. Mark Clubb, executive chairman of TEAM, noted that Cusins’ experience in capital allocation and corporate transactions will be instrumental as the group pursues further international growth and strategic scaling.
