To secure the deal, customers must place orders exclusively through the Chipotle app or the company’s official website using the promo code AVO2026. The promotion excludes in-restaurant orders, catering services, and third-party delivery platforms. Stephanie Perdue, the brand’s senior vice president of marketing, noted that the company chose to expand the event because a single day was insufficient to satisfy consumer demand for the signature side.
Chipotle Expands National Avocado Day to Two-Day Freebie Event
Chipotle is stretching its National Avocado Day celebration beyond the traditional 24-hour window, offering customers a dual-day promotion. On July 31 and August 1, the chain will provide free chips and guacamole with the purchase of any full-priced entrée, marking the first time the company has extended the offer.

Beyond the promotion, the company is launching a digital campaign on July 30 featuring influencers Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. The duo will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the supply chain, documenting the harvesting process at a California avocado farm and the subsequent preparation of the hand-mashed guacamole in restaurant kitchens. Each batch produced at Chipotle locations utilizes 48 whole Hass avocados, a process the company emphasizes to highlight its commitment to fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients across its 4,100 global locations.
