Tennessee American Water Opens 2026 Firefighter Grant Program
Tennessee American Water is calling on professional and volunteer fire departments within its service territories to submit applications for the 2026 Firefighting Support Grant Program. The initiative offers individual awards of up to $1,000 to help local crews secure essential training and equipment for community protection.

Interested organizations must submit their requests through the company website by August 31, with final recipients scheduled for notification in September. Last year, the program distributed 17 grants to departments spanning Hamilton, Marion, and Sequatchie counties, as well as adjacent areas in Georgia.
