Singapore-based tech firm Lovense has launched Remote 8.0, a significant update to its flagship mobile application that attempts to bridge the gap between device control and community interaction. The new version moves away from isolated functions, favoring a centralized dashboard that keeps hardware settings accessible during navigation.
Central to this update is the introduction of a persistent control bubble. When users navigate away from the main device settings, this floating overlay remains active, allowing for real-time intensity adjustments without disrupting the user's browsing experience. Additionally, the app now supports physical volume keys to modify device output, further reducing the need to toggle between screens. CEO Dan Liu noted that the update is designed to strengthen the foundation of the broader ecosystem by creating a more cohesive journey across device management and social interaction. The software is currently available for global download on iOS and Android platforms.
