After building a national footprint across the Northeast, Midwest, and Mountain West, automotive repair platform Straightaway has finally planted its flag in its home market. The acquisition of South Carolina-based The Shop @ 160 marks the company’s first official entry into the high-growth corridor of North and South Carolina.
Founder Arun Saluja, who built The Shop @ 160 on a foundation of local trust, will see his business integrated into a larger framework designed to provide additional resources while maintaining local brand identity. According to Chief Brand Officer Cameron Chernikow, the proximity of the new region allows for deeper field involvement, enabling the company to refine its operational standards in its own backyard. Straightaway plans to accelerate this regional development by targeting further partnerships with established repair shops throughout the Carolinas.
