Two decorated federal law enforcement veterans, Eric Harden and Bernard J. Zapor, have joined the advisory board of eSleuth AI. By integrating 52 years of combined experience in violent crime reduction into the platform's development, the company aims to bridge the gap between advanced machine learning and practical field investigations.
Eric Harden, a former ATF Special Agent in Charge who oversaw field divisions in Los Angeles and San Francisco, brings a history of architecting multi-agency crime reduction initiatives. He cited the sheer volume of unresolved cases—noting over 8 million unsolved violent crimes since 2013—as his primary motivation for joining the project. Joining him is Bernard J. Zapor, a 26-year veteran who previously served as a deputy assistant director in Washington, D.C. Zapor, who currently leads 3 Delta Consulting, will focus on scaling the platform’s capacity to handle complex murder-for-hire and trafficking investigations. Both advisors will help steer the development of the company's solvability matrix, which uses AI to prioritize case leads while maintaining CJIS compliance and chain-of-custody protocols.
