Clarivate Promotes Michael Easton to Chief Financial Officer
Clarivate has appointed Michael Easton as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective August 8, 2026. Easton, who currently serves as the company's Chief Accounting Officer, will succeed Jonathan Collins as he departs the information and analytics firm to pursue a new professional opportunity.

CEO Matti Shem Tov praised the promotion as a validation of the company's internal succession planning. Easton will oversee the firm’s strategic efforts to accelerate growth, improve profitability, and increase free cash flow generation. The transition coincides with the company's second-quarter 2026 earnings release, which is scheduled for discussion during a conference call today. Jonathan Collins departs after a transformation period that included the planned divestiture of the company's Life Sciences & Healthcare segment.
