After five decades of shaping early childhood education across New Jersey, Apple Montessori Schools is crossing state lines. The institution officially opens its first Pennsylvania location in Warrington this September, bringing a specialized academic model to Bucks County families with a campus centered on age-appropriate development.
Operational leadership for the Warrington school rests with Amanda Gearhart and Stacey Venuto, both seasoned educators with decades of classroom and administrative experience. Gearhart brings nearly 20 years of expertise to the role, while Venuto, a long-time member of the Warrington community, contributes 25 years of experience in Montessori direction. Their combined tenure aims to mirror the success of the original program founded by Rex and Jane Bailey in 1972, which emphasizes independence and early literacy, including a phonics-based approach that often results in students reading by age four.
