AAON Expands Board with Industrial and Financial Veterans
Tulsa-based HVAC manufacturer AAON has appointed Robert L. Buttermore III and Patrick J. Jermain to its Board of Directors, effective July 28, 2026. The move signals a strategic push to bolster the company’s oversight as it scales its footprint in the mission-critical cooling and commercial HVAC sectors.
Jermain, the former CFO of Plexus Corporation, will serve on the Audit Committee. During his twelve-year tenure at Plexus, he oversaw significant portfolio transformations and capital allocation strategies. His expertise in financial governance and M&A is intended to guide the company through its next phase of growth. Both appointments are part of an ongoing succession and board refreshment process aimed at aligning director skill sets with the company’s long-term expansion goals.
