The Gallery, operated in partnership with City Auto Mitsubishi, functions as a high-traffic proof-of-concept designed to place the brand directly into the daily lives of consumers. Unlike standard dealerships, this facility emphasizes an open-concept environment where visitors can engage with product specialists and explore vehicle lineups without the pressure of a traditional showroom floor. Purchases and vehicle deliveries are managed through the company’s ClickShop digital platform, while physical service and maintenance remain anchored at the nearby full-service City Auto Mitsubishi location.
Mitsubishi Motors Launches First U.S. Gallery Showroom in Tennessee
In an effort to pivot away from traditional car-buying, Mitsubishi Motors North America has opened its inaugural Gallery dealership at the Century Farms development in Antioch, Tennessee. This immersive retail space marks the first tangible milestone of the company’s five-year Momentum 2030 business strategy.
Mark Chaffin, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, noted that the model is intended to make vehicle procurement faster and more accessible by meeting shoppers where they already frequent. The company plans to use this site as a blueprint for a nationwide retail expansion. This shift is a core component of the Momentum 2030 plan, which aims to nearly double the company's U.S. product portfolio by 2030 through the introduction of one new or refreshed model annually, ranging from internal combustion engines to battery-electric vehicles.
