The Hangzhou-based distributor signaled a significant shift in its business model throughout the 2026 fiscal year. After divesting its retail drugstore chain, the company focused on scaling its online and offline pharmaceutical wholesale network. Ridgetech Reports Fiscal 2026 Results Amid Strategic Pivot
Ridgetech, Inc. posted a $1.25 million net loss for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, as the company finalized its transition into a specialized wholesale distributor. Despite the bottom-line decline, annual revenue climbed 10.2% to $132.16 million, bolstered by the first full year of its online platform operations.

While top-line growth remained positive, the company faced operational headwinds. Offline wholesale revenue dipped slightly by 0.8% to $117.87 million, a move the company attributed to tighter risk management after discontinuing certain credit sales. Operating expenses rose significantly, driven by a 98.2% jump in sales and marketing costs and increased payroll following the Allright integration. Looking ahead, Ridgetech aims to leverage its dual-engine growth strategy to penetrate nationwide pharmaceutical markets, though management continues to navigate the complexities of shifting its footprint from traditional retail to a digital-first wholesale model.
