Starting September 11, visitors at the Tampa Bay and Williamsburg locations will step into a narrative centered on a search for a missing film crew deep within the Amazon. While the core premise remains consistent, each park offers a distinct experience: Tampa Bay hosts Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape, while the Williamsburg park features Anaconda: Dead on Arrival. Both attractions function as an expansion of the film's lore, shifting the guest experience from passive viewing to active survival.
Busch Gardens Adds Anaconda-Themed Haunted Houses to Howl-O-Scream
A giant serpent is slithering into the theme park circuit this autumn. Busch Gardens is partnering with Sony Pictures to debut two original haunted houses based on the 1997 thriller Anaconda, marking the first time the film franchise has been adapted into a live-action immersive attraction for the annual Howl-O-Scream event.

Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts, noted that the collaboration aims to heighten the intensity of their seasonal programming. The inclusion of these houses, alongside the parks' existing scare zones and coaster lineup, is designed to bolster Howl-O-Scream’s standing as a major Halloween destination. Tickets and promotional packages for the event are currently available through the official Busch Gardens website.
