The investigation centers on whether O-I Glass misled investors regarding its 2026 outlook and fiscal 2027 targets. In April, CEO Gordon Hardie signaled that sales volumes would remain flat compared to the previous year. By the July 29 earnings call, however, management was forced to pivot, citing lower sales volumes that required mitigation through currency fluctuations and cost-cutting measures.
O-I Glass Under Scrutiny Following Sharp Earnings Miss
A 15% drop in O-I Glass share prices has triggered a securities investigation by the firm Levi & Korsinsky. The slide followed a stark disconnect between the company's April earnings forecast of $1.00 to $1.50 per share and the actual second-quarter results of just $0.09, forcing a downward revision of annual guidance.

Investors who purchased shares at prices that may have been inflated by these earlier projections are now being urged to review their brokerage records. Levi & Korsinsky is currently evaluating potential claims for shareholders who suffered losses, emphasizing that eligibility is determined by purchase timing rather than current holdings. The firm, operating under the SueWallSt brand, has indicated that the investigation into these potential securities law violations will proceed on a contingency basis, requiring no upfront costs from participants.
